Need Advice
« on: October 05, 2015, 03:02:36 PM »
 Hi fellow members, I am looking for someone to check and tweak the tune on my 3 cars. I'd just like to find a good mechanic who understands old school cars and can properly tune these pride and joys. Car 1: '79 Corvette with 350cu and 4bbl Rochester (carby fully overhauled recently by SR Performance) / Car 2: '80 Z28 Camaro 350cu with 4bbl Rochester (carby overhauled recently by SR Performance) / Car 3: '70 Mustang 302cu with 4bbl Holley. All of the cars are running ok, but could do with a tickle & tweak to improve performance. Would prefer someone out Western Sydney as I am out that way, or if they could look at on Saturday morning for me?? If you know of any one who you would trust with your pride and joy, please let me know.  :thank:

Chris from SMS will set you straight. Located in Bankstown, not far from the M5.
He is one of the sponsors so the contact number is on the main page.
He does not rip you off, he's a straight shooter and all round nice guy.

Hi Stu  :hi:

:he: - Chris has done a lot of work on our car.

Happy for you to give Mark a call for a chat if you like.

Cheers,

:bow:thanks guy's I'll look into soon as I would like to make sure that the toys are running as best they can be. There are so many out there that say they can work on these cars but just have their hands in your pocket.

I've asked Mark to check who he used for the Camaro when we first bought it.

Does your A/C still work with R12 in it?

Hi Stu,
I can take care of your aircon issue while I am working on your tune. I have a mobile electrician/aircon guy comes to my workshop on a regular basis, just a matter of arrangements.
Cheers.

PS: Thanks for all the people putting in recommendations for me, much appreciated. I am still flat out fixing Mustangs.
