Hi Guys,

Been a member of your forum for a while now but dont do much posting. Saw this new section & decided to post up some pics & info on my toy.

Its a 1968 Firebird that I bought from Adelaide back in August 2005. GAS455 & myself went on an adventurous  road trip one weekend & towed it home. It was a stripped rolling body that came with a lot of new parts. I had it sandblasted & painted. Got it home from the painters October 2006.
Got it finished & registered May 2007 but has been a work in progress since.

Body it totally standard except for the hole through the bonnet.
Wheel arch moulds & sill moulds have also been removed.

Factory deluxe black trim kit. New seats, hood lining, door trims & carpet.
Billet Specialties steering wheel.
B&M quick silver shifter.
Auto meter tacho, oil pressure & temp gauges. Guages fitted in heater control panel.
Panasonic stereo.
Boot –
Carpeted with custom storage boxes along sides to protect rear quarters.
Suspension –

Koni shocks all round.
Factory front sway bar.
Jegs bolt in subframe connectors.
Caltrack traction bars.
Wheels & Tyres –

Nankang 245/45’s on the front & 255/45’s on the rear.

Drivetrain –

Thanks guys ! Darren, your GTO looked very hot.

The first couple of pics are when I dropped it off at the panel beaters the week after I bought it. The rest of the pics were taken in front of a mates barn here in Sydney by a photographer named Ken Stevenson for Nitro magazine.
