I know this post may seem early but is anyone interested in going at the end of the year.

Dates are 06/01/11 to 09/01/11.

I will be going and taking the 57, if you want to go and take your car, entry before 31/07 is $120. (which is probably about the same price as a 3 day pass?)

Then jumps to $180 and if you wait till November goes up to $270

From memory last years 3 day was $120 as you say Jason thats half the reason we are entering.
I didnt pay much attention last year but is there many areas where the car can just be parked up,other then putting it on the dyno and walking away.

Thanx Muzzy for the question

I am entering the 57 as I did last year and just ticking the box for judging under 'street class'

If you take your car does not mean you have to enter driving events, dyno, judging or anything else but does mean you can take your pride and joy into the nat's grounds. I tick a few boxes anyway at least if when I get down there I want to go on the dyno, have the car judged or go in the grass events I can. If I don't it doesnt matter!

For parking the safest place is in the infield where I left my car for 3 days, unlocked, doors open etc.

Parking in the infield does not subject your car to 'judging' for that you have to go through the Meguire's building on Friday to qualify.

The best thing is you pay the same amount as a 3 day pass, don't pay for any parking, you can come and go as you please and cruise around until your hearts content.

My only suggestion is not to leave your car in the in-field on Saturday night as thats when the bands play and and organises put on a show including setting cars on fire and sometimes then blowing them up.
