Important - V8 Supercars Homebush

Dear Members

It has come to our attention recently that the venue for cars on display at the V8 Supercars this year has changed.

Unfortunately, the Dome will not be used and therefore our cars will be displayed outside.

Following on from a meeting last night, and with much regret, we have decided not to take part in this event this year. 

For those members who had expressed an interest in having their cars on display, we apologise if this decision disappoints you.

We would very much have liked to be a part of this great event but we very much doubt our members would want their cars out in the elements for four days.

Thats a shame about having the cars outside! They will find that the car show part will DRAMATICALLY decline in numbers, if any cars even turn up?

Yeah a real shame - we always look forward to this event.

I agree, not having the shelter will turn off a lot of people.  I have a feeling they may reconsider this decision next year...

Good decision, I agree 100%. No way I would be keen on leaving the cars outside all weekend.

Glad we haven't got the cars out there with this crazy weather.  Huge storms every night, heavy rain & hail.  No thanks.
