Camaro Celebrates 3 Million Facebook Fans with Greatest Hits Video
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:58:03 AM »
For the last 45 years, the Chevy Camaro has made an impact on people’s lives, from family vacations, car shows, races, restorations and more. Chevrolet recognizes this and decided to use this notion as inspiration for a celebratory video recently released for Camaro reaching 3 million fans on Facebook. If you had a Camaro growing up, didn’t get one until retirement or just loved the model as early as you can remember, this video’s for you.

Titled “Camaro’s Greatest Hits,” the video features notable events in Camaro history as well as great Camaro moments in the lives of enthusiasts. As the information with the video explains, the Camaro wouldn’t be the same without its fans so Chevy wanted to pay tribute to all those moments that makes the Camaro model so special.

Notable moments that are highlighted in the video include the birth of the Camaro, the introduction of the legendary Z/28, the production of the one-millionth and two-millionth models, the introduction of T-tops, the car’s magazine designations, the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro Concept car and the return of the ZL1. Of course, if this video included all of the notable moments in Camaro history, it would stretch for hours and hours.

Fans of the Camaro also got in on the video, with Chevy highlighting many stories like a high school car show win, then and now pictures spanning generations of families and cars, as well as some get-togethers and once in a lifetime experiences.

It’s true that the Camaro wouldn’t be the same without its fans, but the fans also wouldn’t be the same without the Camaro. Seems like a match made in heaven if you ask us.
