Made it to Castle Towers. I was guided me towards the Chevs and only found the AMCCA gang after I parked.

Met a couple of the lads, but promptly forgot your names   :sorry:

First show for me and was VERY impressed. Apparently it was down a bit on numbers from previous years, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great result Leigh,

As we chatted in the drizzle we both hoped that
your vision and hard work would pay off with the firebird and that
the events judges were able to acknowledge the quality and award
and reward for effort.I left early as it sprinkled and am so pleased
for you about the trophy
Around 20+ cars made the trip and did the club proud
and all made the most of the day chatting shopping and looking at
the other cars on show there were many forsale  and some excellent
cars on display.
Numbers were down certainly not amongst the mustangs and corvettes
mainly form other makes such as rods
the overcast conditions made for a cool pleasant day most unusual
for castle towers
To all that made the trip from the amcca committee ,we thank you

ps we were missing some club apparal shirts ,caps, to sell plz fix that next time..cheers

Hi Les,
I've been told that Club  Apparel is only available to members and as my contact details are on the Committee page - I am only a phone call away from meeting their needs (and indeed I have had members call to our house to collect a surprise shirt for Christmas for hubby) - as neither of our Camaro's are currently roadworthy (some members will remember us sitting on the side of the road waiting for the rain to stop so we could see when we got caught with not working wipers on the Gledswood Farm run the Sunday before) we could not make the run to the All American Day. As I understand it,  we don't promote and sell our logo ed merchandise to non members and while there are good reasons for both sides I am happy to abide by previous policies. Glad you all had a good day.

Thank you Gene,I obviously dont understand club policy
being on committee I am discovering less is better.
I could have bought a mustang cap or polo shirt on
the day they would have been happy to sell it to me
yes at full price and not members discount oh well.

This is the biggest exposure for our club the all
American day is where I believe it all started and thank god
for that just on a bad day the heat can destroy ones enthusiam.
There are some great photos posted very good snappers out there
and we look forward to another big year ahead getting out
enjoying the runs :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:
