Hi guys,
Our car is going to undergo a little paint job and I was just wondering if anyone knows anywhere to get front and rear bumpers re chromed. They are currently painted a frosted silver but we want them to go back to chrome!!!! Anyone know of anywhere that does this???? :thank:

All large items like bumpers are now chromed in Albury due to the enviromental levy imposed by local councils. All the local guys are only agents.
Courtney......you may find the reason for the silver frost because the cost involved in rechroming. One of my customers paid almost two grand for rechroming his front bumper on his 57 Chev with basically nil repair work.

All Metal Bumpers at Ingleburn (opp the Bowls Club) did a great job on a couple of bumpers for me.

There used to be a mob in Silverwater years ago, but I would not recommend them anyway, because I had to take mine back to re-do them, as the plating did not stick... (55 customline)
