Thats not entirely true..... in 1969, Big Block Corvettes were given to the Apollo astronauts to hoon around in.......... because they were ROCKETS!....... get it!:smile:

well, its not unexpected...after all, they needed not only a fast car, but one with heaps of torque.
What else would they buy except a Pontiac.....these guys were rocket scientists after all. :fantastic:
