Title: AMCCA.....THE ROCKET HAS LANDED
Post by: 68PONY on May 13, 2010, 01:58:42 PM: YEE HA! , All is good no surprises , what a cool car , sharon was there, she won't admit it but i did see a tear , the car is a bit green (mouldy) but should come off easy we were told , the guys did a great job in unpacking, it also helped knowing one of the guys unpacking the cars , couldn't get her started ,not to worry her first trip on aussie road will be on the back of a tilt tray :lol: Andy any tips :rol: Mr sinclair she will be coming your way soon , car will need to be cleaned there first, there is vasoline all over car , i had this put on to protect paint and chrome so pics may look dull, but the car is everything the guy that inspected it for me said it was.

That map of America (north,middle and south) does look impressive not only on the steering wheel but on the bonnet and trunk lid.
As far advanced they were with cubic inches and other advanced features the Oldsmobile guys must have been Greeks....someone forgot to tell them the earth is round, not flat anymore.
But hang on....Oldsmobile....oldies mobile...shut up me....:zip:

Yes indeed col , sharon could not stop saying " its so cool" we are so happy we took a chance on a olds , i just don't understand why we don't see more mid fifties olds here, i havn't seen one at any car shows everyone is caught up with chevs i suppose , but then again i did not see many for sale in the US either.
