I'm sure that when browsing the 'net these days, many of us listen to radio online.
For those interested in '60's music, this site produces a weekly show, focusing on a particular month in a year of the '60's.
As an American site, it's pretty much Americana, so don't expect too much on world issues.

There is a radio station in sunny Penriff called Vintage FM its at 87.6 and is just great, only plays music which is 40 years or older. I great alternative to the hard rock, doof doof or cool country.

You are not that old...fair enough....but how could you remember an era that you were not around at?
I was born in '59 but listening to music from that era does not excite me. I have a 20 year old daughter and the music she listens to kind of suits me. I am not weird but i am trying to stay young at heart and mind.

Enjoy all types of music - old stuff good for a while to listen to but need to get back to latest stuff. Agree with the doof doof comment though -

I was born in 1961, but my sister was 15 when I arrived. She was right into her music, so I was exposed to stuff from that era from a young age.
I don't know if she still has it, but she bought every record, singles and albums, that the Beatles released as soon as they were in the store. If she still has that as a complete set, you'd think it would be worth some $$$.
The other thing for me is, that it's not just the music. It's a whole era that I'm interested in. There was a lot going on in the world at that time. Vietnam, Cuban Missile Crisis and other aspects of the Cold War, start of the space race, etc.
With some of the things that were achieved at that time, it makes me wonder if we're still actually trying. For example, the Lockheed SR 71 Blackbird set a world speed record for an aircraft that can takeoff and land under it's own power back in 1964. That record still stands today. Also, we couldn't go to the moon today, even if we wanted to, as there is no space craft anywhere that could make the trip - unless anyone has a spare Saturn V lying around.
