Yes  " RUN FOREST RUN "

I heard the fUN police were there, one thing I didnt know which is surprising I understand, that if your car has ever been issued with an engineers report you must carry it in the car at all times, AND I think thats a crock!       (http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r120/heven67/mad%20pictures/CryingBaby.jpg)

With all the technology available the RTA should have a copy and this be available to the appropriate authority, not you have to keep it in the car!;y

NSW Should be like Qld and just have a modification plate attached to the car.
My vette was out of NSW Rego for over 10 years so they wiped all records of it being registered, I had to have it engineered all over again in QLD.
Don't loose those engineers reports

I don't have an engineers report, (Mustang) as she was modifed about 14 years ago from what i can work out, but on my rego there is a part that says, modified as per report number xxxxx.
So why can't officer plod just check by that.
If he wants the engineers report i am up poo creek.
Nothing for super Gal as she is still LHD, and is it modified,
mmmm let me think;11

David.

Because there's no access to report no.xxxxxx, and therefore no record of the particular modification.

David.

I was lead to beleave the same,I had the old NSW rego papers with the report number and matching bicentennial number plates  but it all meant nothing when I moved to Qld.When I rang NSW they couldn't find anything[all deleted] and was told that I should have the engineers papers which should be in the car at all times. My vettes been registered in AU since 1980.
To get an engineer to go over the conversion and supply a mod plate was $375.00 and now can be registered in any state[so they tell me].

I meant the "register in any state".  Back in the days of compliance plates, you could register the car anywhere, but in reality, it didn't work out that way.
