Post by: Muzzy 66 on August 14, 2009, 06:19:33 PM
After very nearly hurting my car on the w/end away Ive come home and gone about putting in some gear Ive had aside for when I built a motor, but its needs some love and help with the cooling now...

Ive come across this mob called flex a lite

www.flex-a-lite.com

Selling some smick looking radiators, with some nice looking accesories for mounting trans coolers and thermos onto..

After any feedback if anyone has used or knows anyone that has used them.

I had a radiator built for my car locally ,the Monza is known for heating issues in the USA because of its front shape
I used the oem tanks ,it is 3 core close tube (radiator to fan distance is not that great ) I also had it made in to a triple pass radiator (need an external trans cooler) all up cost $600 ,NO issues whatsoever with temp using the standard Chev fixed blade fan
worth thinking about before going the import route

Whilst looking thru the Sept. issue of Just Cars, on page 127, there's an ad from the distributers of Kendall Motor Oil.  They say they are carrying a line of aluminium radiators that are a direct bolt in, including trans cooler, for many cars, including Mustang.
The 3 row is $495 and the 4 row is $595.
They're in Sydney and their ph no. is 9477 7666.

As far as Flex a lite is concerned, they're an American co. that's been around for probably 50 years, if not longer.
