I picked up these wheels and tyres in LA when I was on my last trip over there. They recently arrived after some problems with my freight forwarding agent (he basically had a break down and someone else had to step in and ship about 9 containers of cars and parts for him). But, they're finally here.....I had the wheels assembled and balanced this morning and fitted them up in time to take a few pics this afternoon.
I'm running these American Racing copies in 17x9 (rear) with 275/50x17 Nitto tyres, and 17x8 (front) with 255/50x17 Nitto tyres. I really like how they look on the car....certainly fill the wheel arches nicely, though it looks like I'm going to have to roll the lip a little on the back fenders for clearance when the suspension bottoms.
The backspacing, for info, are 5" on the rear and 4.5" on the front...which matches the factory track front and rear.

They're Nitto NT450 models....I wanted the new INVO Nittos but they don't come in the sizes I want.....but they do stick very nicely.
Took the car on a long drive Sunday....the car rides very well, no loss of comfort with the 17" wheels and 50 profile tyres. The car tracks a lot better than the old BFG Comp T/As I had on it. Handles very nicely, though I'm still touching the inner lip on the back fenders, even after I rolled it a bit. My panelbeater has the car at his panel shop now trimming the fender lip back a little...theres plenty of meat there to play with.
