COWRA WEEKEND GETAWAY IS COMING in 2025

Come along for 3 days of history and nostalgia which includes Cowra's WW2 POW camp, the Japanese Gardens, Historic Cowra Railway Station and Museum, Australia's World Peace Bell or visit historic Canowindra plus much much more. There is some hearty country food, a private AMCCA club only picnic at the Historic Iandra Castle, a great place to enjoy a nice cold brew with your AMCCA family.

Members what you need to do.
1. Contact Club Cowra Motel to book your room - contact Ian or staff on 6341 1999 - mention it is a booking under AMCCA.
2. Post on the forum that you have booked your room and deposited $25 per person for our private entry to Iandra Castle.

Friday 28th February
10.00am Depart Bunnings Narellan.
10.40am Pick up point Glenbrook Info Centre. (Peter will meet members there)
11.40am First stop the Lolly Bug Little Hartley
12.40pm Fuel/Rest stop BP Raglan (Bathurst)
1.45pm Lunch Royal Hotel Blayney
4.10pm Arrive Cowra
6.30pm Dinner at Cowra Services Club. (Next door to Motel)

Saturday 1st March
10.00am Drivers briefing
10.15am Depart for Iandra Castle - all food is provided on the day.
2.00pm Depart Iandra Castle
2.00pm - 6.00pm Explore Cowra - refer your Places of Interest sheet.
6.30pm - Dinner at Cowra Services Club. (Next door to Motel)

Sunday 2nd March
9.30am Drivers briefing
9.45am Depart Cowra
10.50am Lunch at Boorowa Hotel
12.30pm Depart Boorowa and cruise home via the M31 highway (Yass).
