Wanted to buy...

I would put this in "cars for sale and wanted", but I'm after something NOT American muscle, so here is what I'm looking for:

something cheap and cheerful, cheap to drive, cheap to own. Something reliable to get to work and back on a daily basis.
Prefer manual but I really don't care too much.

Big or small does not matter, number of seats or body style or condition of body does not matter, as long as it goes. I'm in Sydney and will need something like this for a job coming up soon.

Must be registered in NSW and good enough to keep registered, at least for a few years.

Price range is low $1000-$2000 but I would consider paying more for something of low kms.

If anyone has anything they want to sell, or know of anything worth looking at, please let me know.

I I may have a car that could fit your needs. Its a 1989 Honda Prelude 4 wheel steer auto in good mech condition.  Mum's car & shes had to give up driving due to age. If its an option call me tomorrow on 0401 139 190 & leave a msg if Im in a lesson. Cheers Garth
