Gday Team,
Just a heads up about a fantastic event being held at Gledswood Homestead & Winery at Gledswood Hills on Father's Day (Sept 2nd).
I went last year and it was excellent. Very well organised and catered by the estate. Food, wine, market stalls, farm animals, damper and billy tea demo's, campfire and bushman thingamibob etc. It also has a museum of sorts. Well worth the $10 in my opinion.
There is a sealed section and plenty of well maintained grass to park your car on. Plenty of space to lay out a picnic rug if you wish or table and chairs.
What: Father's Day Picnic & Car Show
When: Sunday, September 2nd @ 10am to roughly 4pm
Where: Gledswood Homestead & Winery, 900 Camden Valley Way, Gledswood Hills
Who is running it: Chris Palazzo (0414 409 333) owner of Outlaw Rod Shop
How Much: $10 whether you are showing your car or not.
What Cars: Hot Rods, Muscle, Custom, Classic
Logistics and Hints: GET IN EARLY and I mean 800am if you are showing your car. This show was so busy last year they turned down hundreds of cars and onlookers (cars) due to safety and fire regulations. The line to get in was very long. This year there is an option to pre-book tickets online, which I would recommend. You may still be in line to get in, but will not be turned back if you pre-book.
I will discuss this further at the monthly meet if need be. See flyer for reference.
Cheers
Stan
