Lunch Run – Gerroa Fisherman’s Club – 68 Crooked River Road, Gerroa (12.00pm)

Gerroa Boat Fisherman’s Club is an AMCCA favourite.  Great food and drinks at a fantastic location overlooking Seven Mile Beach.

Meeting point: Caltex Service Station Heathcote at 10.30am departing at 10.45am; collect members from Bulli Tops Tourist Information Centre on the way through.

Just a thought, the Sutherland to Wollongong bike ride is on this Sunday. Expect delays with the traffic.

  Good point!! One lane of the highway southbound will be closed to traffic all the way to Waterfall & speed is usually restricted as a result of the proximity of riders to traffic. Entry and exit to Caltex will also be more difficult as bikes are given priority on that day (know this as Ive done the ride prior & I also live locally...)

At the meeting last night we where told that the bikes would already be down at the Gong before we meet at the servo at Heathcote. So that is a lot better.

Just looked up Syd to Gong ride as Ive done it prior. According to official information start times fr St Peters are between 6 & 8am and Heathcote bt 8 & 845am. However "cut off" times for riders to pass thru Waterfall is 11am. Official support vehicles will follow through after that & road closures / restrictions will be removed after this. Just be mindful of this as delays will be ongoing through to at least lunchtime...  Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings folks...
