Poor service

What do you do when you give your car to the tyre shop to have new tyres fitted and it comes with damage on the rims that were in unmarked condition. The tyre shop manager refuses to recognize the damage done caused by his shop and says it my word against his. I hate giving my cars to anyone to work on for this reason.

Am also sorry to hear that. I had an incident where my car went in t have a flat tyre repaired and the matching alloy spare wheel was replaced with a steel rim. I took the manager to task over it and he denied all & dared me to "try & prove it". Spoke to the police & Dept of Fair Trading & told nothing can be done without proof.... which is obviously impossible. Only way around it is to take your car to someone you have a rapore with if you have such a person...

That sucks where did u go too? I us trend tyre power at Caringbah u might pay a bit more but they love cars and they do a top job. Ray is always helpful with chasing the size and brand u want.

Sorry to hear Glenn  , I know all about it too - its happened twice to me on my vette. they fixed it (sort of) but u can still see it.
I now use these guys Highly recommend ... Kogarah Tyrepower, west Botany st Kogarah. So far they have been exeptional with my wheels & tyres! The Owner has very good customer manners and is as helpful as can be!

Thanks guys for sharing your experiences. I have very strong feelings on this issue....to the point where I totally lost it in the tyre shop and probably did myself no favours!!
The wheels in question were my pristine Mercedes Benz alloys.
I guess there will always be morons who don't give a rats....
