Jus past a new white 2016 Mustang Highway Patrol cruiser in full colours heading just north of Goulburn.   Had heard they'd failed the braking tests and where out of contention as a replacement for Falcons and Commodores... ???

Same as the test mule shown here.. but the one I saw had a light bar on top.

Not only the break test it failed. Because they tested them in the middle of summer the transmission could not handle the heat from harsh driving so it promptly gone into meltdown. My HP buddy says they are still in favour against the other contenders so they may have decided to go for them. I will keep you posted.
