attempted t-top fix...
« on: January 29, 2016, 07:42:04 PM »
Hey there, I'm trying my hand at fixing the RHS t-top leak.

I suspect that the area near the rubber has been holding water (after a few days of being stuck in rain, when I came to a stop, the water would flow forward and trickle down my leg)

So, I've got the black silicon, some packing tape and I'm going to give it a bash...

wish me luck!

Good luck, if this fails maybe a new weather strip or two is required.  :banghead:

yeah, I had a look for weather strips, the closest thing I could find is a whole metal strip that cost a packet... hoping that silicon is not just a Greek comedian, but a useful sealant
