.. Due to be announced officially in a few weeks time....a great news story for common sense and the enjoyment of sensible restorers and owner / drivers... a NSW based 60 day use log book style historic style rego - known as the M plate schome...... is similar to the very successful Victorian scheme - for 30 yr & older vehicles..... is to be introduced in NSW for cars currently full registered..Exact details shortly.
This particularly will help all those regional and country members and help to give them the opportunity to partake in activity as opportunity presents itself.
This is a great move forward.. when used correctly like it is in Victoria.. it helps to blend good social acceptance and responsibility of the collector car following in with good RMS governance.
Congrats to all the ACMC, Liberal Minister Duncan Gay & NSW RMS folk for getting together and making this happen.
