Can't make it as I still don't have my car back
. It is getting Dyno tuned
and I was meant to get it back mid last week but the mechanic was keeping it for a few more days to improve the cold start by adjusting the warm up enrichment table when she burst a power steering hose
. Since this also runs the brake booster, it currently has no power steer nor brakes. Anyway was able to source the hose and should get it back early next week.
Apparently the rotor was off or something and the static timing was about 7° different to what the Megasquirt ECU system was expecting, he couldn't believe it started at all. He reckons it will produce at least 100hp more than what it was, hopefully true and not just the mechanic talking it up. Can't wait to see the Dyno report. See you at the monthly meeting.
