Today I spoke to Timothy Sproats Car Club Administrator for the Top Gear Festival Sydney.
The Event will be running at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th March. Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and the Stig will be headlining along with many stars such as Mark Webber and Jamie Whincup set to take the track transforming Sydney Motorsport Park into a petrol-head’s heaven. Envisage the usual Top Gear madness with cars racing planes, certified racing categories, presenter drag races and not to mention an F1 team trying to break the lap record.
Timothy contacted me to see if we could come up with 10 of our best US Muscle Cars for a static display for the duration of the festival. However after a brief discussion Timothy has extended the invitation to include as many AMCCA members as we can muster.
All participating cars will be allocated x 2 General Entry tickets to the event per day
ALL VEHCILES TO BE FOR STATIC DISPLAY MUST BE REGESTERED FOR THE EVENT BEFORE THE CUT OFF DATE FRIDAY FEB 8TH – NO DRIVING ON SITE ONCE PLACED
IT IS INTENDED THAT ALL CARS WILL BE ON DISPLAY
FOR BOTH DAYS OF THE EVENT - THOUGH CAN BE REMOVED OVERNIGHT IF REQUIRED
