Batemans Bay weekend Friday Feb 22nd to Sunday 24th Feb

It's that time again  :pepper: Batemans Bay weekend :pepper: last year was our first Batemans Bay cruise we had over 40 members attend and it was a huge success we had awesome feedback from those that attended so I rang Tony from Lincoln Downs and he has the same accommodation available if we book now. To hold the rooms they will require a $100 deposit per room so as you can see we need a quick response to this post so we can have an idea how many rooms we will need.
I am working on the itinerary now and hope to get it posted later today.

The Committee has put together an itinerary to cover the planned events for the Batemans Bay weekend. First thing is the  accommodation, we will be staying at the gorgeous Comfort Inn Lincoln Downs about three minutes out of the BAY town centre. Lincoln Downs is a country style resort with much to offer. You can check out their web site here http://www.lincolndowns.com.au/
All members that will be attending must book their specific accommodation ASAP. The club has paid the deposit to secure the rooms after booking all bookings must be paid in full two weeks prior to the event.

Please call the Comfort Inn Lincoln Downs on (02)44789200 don't forget to mention AMCCA for our club discount rate and also you will be asked about the optional three course meal at there restaurant for Saturday night.
COST = $145 per room per night twin share + $30 per child per night
This price includes a full breakfast each day.

Friday 22nd...
The main group will leave Sydney at 10:30 am (those with work commitments will join us later at the resort ) stopping at Maccas South Nowra for brunch then continuing on to Lincoln Downs arriving around 1:30 / 2:00pm. After getting settled in, the club will put on a BBQ with some local Prawns and local baked bread under the Bridge same spot as last year leaving the Resort around 5ish both venues are only a short drive.Then back to the resort for a game of stick and sample the Bar or just relax in the grounds.

Saturday 23rd....
Let the fun begin! We will leave the resort at 11:00 am for a cruise to Narooma about 1 hour south of Batemans Bay stopping at Bodalla to look at the historic Church and Dairy shed  (both great Club photo ops and an icecream is always welcome on a hot day)

 Then we are booked for lunch at the Narooma Golf Club around 12:30pm this is a great venue with awesome views of Narooma Bar and Montague Island you can check out the lunch menu on their web site.

We are not done yet, after lunch we will drive just a little further south to Central Tilba Tilba a great little arty farty town similar to Berrima with its own South Coast charm.
Dinner on Saturday night will be back in the BAY we have several options Tony at Lincon Downs has offered a Three course Dinner to Club members for $42 pp or you can take a short drive in to town and eat at one of the many restaurants.

Sunday 24th...
Check out from Lincoln Downs is 10:00am
 We will hit the road homeward bound and bring the trip to an official end over lunch and coffee at South Nowra Maccas
