Hi,
Just looking at a 350 Chev engine for my Parisienne. Came across these guys in Albury..." Engine Master Australia". They are advertising a fully rebuilt 350 Vortec complete turn key engine, new Edelbrock E street alloy heads, roller cam, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock 650cfm carb, MSD dizzy, gilmer drive kit. Approx. 375hp $6985. Does this seem like a reasonable package price wise? Has anyone had any dealings with these guys? Engines can be viewed on ebay.
Cheers,
Steya.

Hey Steve,
Try Eagle Auto Parts. They have stores in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
I know you are in Mackay so Brisbane would be the cheapest for you regarding freight. Their Brisbane number is 07 3442 8000. I am sure they will sell you the same package for at least $2000 less. Engine Masters have always been the most expensive to chose from and they do not always have the stock they advertise.

Cheers, Chris.

Make sure you do your research. The HP rating given on a US assembled crate engine may be very different to that of an Australian built engine with the US calculated figures etc etc.

Also look at what parts are in each engine, are they comparable or does one have better stuff in it.

Chevrolet all the way :exact:
