Thought would give the Southern Highlands run a look-see (saw on PT forum where I am also a member, nice to catch up with some more friends had not seen for awhile)...had a great day...plenty of food on the bbq (kids free)...trays and trays of party pies, sausage rolls, mini quiches, there was a jumping castle....entertainment...Fletch followed the group around for the day (catch it on TVS 3 weeks time)....around 40+ cars...organiser turned out to be an old work acquaintance of Peters'....definately one to keep in mind for next year!!! :fantastic:

ForFun..  didn't know about that one.. just hard to get good information about all the  different runs going on.
Wish I'd known about that too.. was up that way on Sunday.. We just brought our 18 yr old daughter a 2001 PT (Red Classic Auto with sunroof)  off Ebay 10 days back....they are VERY solid cars..and sure beats the '91 Diahatsu Applause she'd learnt to drive in .. but safety is my # 1 priority with the kids first cars to be honest,  besides interesting looks and easy to drive.
(If anybody wants a decent used 91 Applause, AC, Auto, PS, CD, etc white 230,000, 5 weeks rego.. $1100 call me.. goes well for a daily driver)

Damn PT's are taking over, there where a few there on Sunday.

Was a very enjoyable day, great concept, there is something real nice about a great old pub with open fireplaces keeping them warm.

Hopefully we will be able to make the full tour next time, not just the lunch.

We haven't been out and about much these days, so was great to get out and check out this run.  We had lots of fun on this run, the live music just set the scene - not too loud and the type of music was just right!  The kids had a ball with the sausage rolls, party pies and the free jumping castle.  I also did alright with the pokies as well :shades:
