When are you open over the Christmas Period?
LeighP:
I've got a print out of ADRs with their introduction date...its all available on the net.
It let me work out if I had much to comply with...luckily, 1971 was before a lot of the rubbish ADRs started to appear.
heres a list of ADRs for older vehic;es and the date of implimentation...you can print the PDF files.

Thanks Leigh, you are great help. The problem is that lots of blue slip guys misinterpret the rules because they simply do not understand it themselves fully and give you false guidance.
Especially when it comes to imports they get worried how to approach and instead of politely tell you to go somewhere else they come up with some p#ss poor excuse that you need an engineers report.
I have been doing this ever since the scheme was introduced many years ago and up to date with it so if you need correct guidance I am more than happy to help.
Cheers and Merry Christmas to all :xmas:

Thanks very much....I've got a local guy who's done a friend's 81 GMC pickup and it all went well...if I get stuck, I'll flat bed the car over to you for a blue slip.
I hope to have mine on the road by the middle of 2012....once it comes out from the paint shop next month, theres just wiring and trim to do.
JACTUPBITTSPIECES:
Hey Chris, I'm sorry for not bringing the 71 vette to you a few weeks back, there just wasn't enough hours in the days prior to Christmas.
Mate are you taking a break over Christmas and is your workshop closed? If so when are you back open for business, I have some time off and would like to get the car blued and registered whilst I have the time if I could:fingers:
Cheers
Steve
