The 'this just in' would be my new engine. To say it was easy would be complete bs, as the car fought me the whole way. Even when I went to fire it up the first time, the dizzy was 180 deg out.
But, it's running (nicely) and the car is now fun to drive again. As well as that, I now have 2 455's to stare at on stands in my garage!
It's been about 11 years since I performed my last 'heart transplant' ('66 GTO). I seem to remember it being a lot easier last time. It might have something to do with me being 49 instead of 38 like last time.
Having said that, I have to admit that I'm enjoying the sense of achievment of doing it myself.
