The Mobile speed camera cars (NSW) are now to be fitted with yellow stripes so that they are VISABLE! And I personally asked the head honcho about the camera cars hiding behind trees and other objects, he said (I have a recording of it!) that the cars are now meant to be visable and that they are not to hide!!!!! Yeehaaa! at least now it will be harder for the cars to sneak around, you will hopefully see them a long way off! So if you dont see them then its your own fault!

well they HAVE been hiding around mount ousley ............about 1/2 way up a section that most drivers usually let a car roll (can get up to 120 or so at the bottom and wash speed up going up the hill .NOW however you have to maintain the 100 kph downhill ...........not an accident blackspot ,just a great way to force motorists to pay money ! and waste fuel

edit
this is NOT political OR a go at anyone ,it is simply stating the obvious !

I asked the Boss Safety Boffin about that exact incident! I also passed that 'safety car' a little while back, I thought it was very dangerous because cars would panic and slam on there brakes on a seriously fast downhill section and not look whats behind them....like a big truck! Im sure there will be a fatality one day BUT the boffin just fobbed it off by saying that according to his research there has never been an accident of that type of incidence from people slamming on there brakes when they realize there is a camera!
