Couple of updates:
1. Paint
Front end and inside boot now painted
Some pics below, and also playing with Video. Plan to get a much much better video of her when outside is painted and in the sun. Hoping video might show the pearl better, but I really don't think anything will until it sees natural sunlight.
Notice underneath of the control arms paints, the tops are all polished
Diff with it's brand spanking new full floaters and 35 spline axles being assembled today, car will be re-assembled over course of this week in prep for outside being painted

2. Motor
OK after much debate we decided best to pull it down and go the once over given it a crate motor that's been sitting for almost 3 years.
First the good news
- The definitely dynoed it you can tell that the motor has been run, so I have no reason to not believe the original dyno figures of 816Hp and 825 Ft/Lbs of torque
- Pressure tested the heads - 100% perfect
- sonic tested the crank - all good
- block is sound, but is actually 10 thousand over, so it's actually 634 cubes !!!
- we are going to machine the tunnel rams to the heads
- parts are a mix of good and some cheapo stuff but mostly OK
- Engine builder feels that with the tunnel ram it might go 900Hp, we will chassis dyno it to tune it when it is running
Now the not so good news (but not bad)
- it has cheapo Mallaroy pistons, they are being chucked and replaced with JE ones
- Bearings have a bit of wear on them due to crap in the oil, so they will also be replaced (very little to no wear on crank thankfully)
- springs are a bit touch and go but we will leave for now, everything else all good
Now we started planning for the blower (that will be roughly 12 months after the car is registered and I save a whole ton of pennies for a Hilborn injected 12/71)
it's 10.4 : 1 compression right now, we'll leave it at that for 12 months
After that we'll go 20 degree HPC coated 8.5 : 1 blower pistons
Builders "gut feel" wet finger guess-ta-mate on HP on low to medium boost once blown.....1300 - 1500 Hp.....holy sh1t !!!!
