Ok after a call from Luke, I finally got my hands dirty today.
Didn't have much time on my hands so I ran a wire from one side of the coil to the battery. She started right up and rev'd like a beast!!
So sometime this weekend I'm going to get busy and run a wire from the ignition to the coil. Thanks Chris for your help mate
Never would have thought that's what it was!!
