Will this work
GTA390:
Is it possible to jet a 600 Holley down for a 289, running standard heads, standard intake and K code exhaust manifold, and stock cam grind.
Or should i get something a tad smaller.
Or maybe put a bigger cam in, sick of driving grampas car :omg:
Wheres a big block when you need one :thanks:

If it is a vacuum secondary 600 list number 1850 then it will be fine as it is. They only have 66 jets up front and the secondary only comes on on demand from the engine under load. So most of the time you are cruising on the primaries.
The 600 vac/sec is the most versitile and commonly used four barrel Holley and is most suitable on stock to mild performance engines from 250 cubes to even 400 cubes.
I hope this helps.
Cheers, Chris.
