Chris

My car has a smell of fuel in the cabin. I do not use Optimax and have checked the filler and it seems ok. Strong smell in the boot thought when I open it. Any ideas??
Might get you to check it out when you do the discs.
Cheers
Chris

Also make sure you take away the cigars from mother-in-law in boot.  :zip:
Seriously Chris.... it will be a simple fix like putting the fuel cap back on after refuelling....:zip:
I know.... i am an asshole... but trust me, it will be something simple.

Same here Chris, I think it might be the rubber trunk seals not contacting with enough force. Fumes are sucked in behind the car in the low pressure area, evident by tthe soot that forms on the rear of the car.

Well back to topic , chris as gt sally says its probably that rubber hose which goes between the filler neck and gas tank , maybe one of the clamps has sh@t itself , it only takes a drop to stink the car out.
cheers chris.
