I am glad that you have remembered my post and very happy that managed to fix your problem... for now.
Trust me it does not matter how well you clean it, it will keep on corroding until it seizes completely like mine did.

Take my advice, get yourself a Pertronix Billet Flame Thrower instead, it costs about $350, it looks exactly like an MSD and it is compatible with any amplifier that you are running.
