Once again, a "FORD"

There's a few more vid's of this guy on you tube.
No doubt, it's a tough car.
As regards being a "FORD", how much of the computer software he uses to plug into the car between runs is 'Ford'.
And, how comfortable would that family of 6 be, climbing in between the bars of the roll cage and then spending their trip enclosed in the car trailer.
I'm just asking.

I'd be happy climbing thru the maize, but to be really honest as a Mustang owner, I confess, it doesn't have to be FORD, as a matter of fact, my 1996 Celica is not far behind my almost stock 289. I get a thrill driving almost anything, even my 80cc Honda scooter. Hope that sets the records straight!

No computers its a 427 SOHC from 1964, don't even know if computers were around then?
Obviuosly a little more work been done, but you could buy this car of the showroom floor with around the 700Hp mark.

Look at the other you tube stuff of this guy.  He plugs a lap top in between each run.  So, he clearly has modern fuel injection and electronic engine management - that's no Holley carb sitting on the top of that motor.

As far as 700 horse power off the showroom floor in 1964, that is absolute unadulterated B.S.  It's estimated that as few as 50 cars were fitted with this engine from the factory and sold to the general public, as the rest were sold as individual motors or as complete cars to racers.
The engine is unsuitable to use on the street, as it makes all it's power at high rpm and the 12:1 compression ratio would have been too much, even for 1960's petrol.
Racing gasoline only.

I dont recall saying how many were sold, i said you could buy it off the showroom floor.
Due to the low volume sales this is why they are worth the big bucks.

So if they're so great, why did they only sell 50?
Ford managed to sell a million Mustangs in 3 years from 1964, it's not like Ford can't sell cars.
