A big hello from the Mechanic
« on: October 31, 2009, 10:12:45 AM »
Hello everyone!
I have attended the last club meeting on the 28 of Oct at the golf club where i have given the opportunity to introduce myself and also signed up to become a full member.
I have received a very warm welcome from the president and all others on the night. I have also signed up on the forum so i can introduce myself to everyone else.
My name is Chris. I own and operate a performance/mecanical shop in the inner western suburb of Sydney specializing in classic american vehicles built mainly in the 60's 70's era but have experience in newer or older models also. Have been a mechanic for over 30 years and owned over 100 american vehicles during that time. I have just finished restoring a 1970 Dodge Callenger R/T with 426 hemi, TKO 600 5 speed in sublime colour with black T/A hood. I will post some picks when i figure out how to do it.
My other ride is a 74 SS El Camino 454, auto with Hurst Lightning rods, black with silver flames and huge tyres to give it the tough look.
Once again a BIG HELLO and looking forward to meeting:hello: you all on your cruises.

My Hemi Challenger made it's debut at the All Chrysler show last sunday at Fairfield.
Won first place in best modified.:fantastic:
I am still finding it difficult to shrink my head back to normal size!

There is a photo of it in the other thread about the show. It is the sublime colour one with the black T/A hood. ( I will figure out how to post picks one day )
