Well I could hear a ticking noise and in half an hour turned to a load knock, Well in goes the 289 till I get back to this one, No I cant believe it!;N.......;K...............;J...............

These folk that call themselves engine builders ought to give it away!

I will call them tomorrow, if im not happy I name them bloody cheats!

One of the reasons I build all my own engines - haven't had a failure, but if I do I can only blame me!

How is your oil pressure?

Does it do it when its cold or hot or both?

sounds like a lifter or rocker noise to me,are you getting plenty of oil up the top.
