The Dream Cruise

I am currently travelling in the USA and enjoying a week of 'cars' in Michigan. Have been to a number of events as part of the Back to the Bricks car show in and round the township of Flint and went to flint tonight for a gathering of over 400 American muscle cars in the main street of this township situated about an hour from Detroit.

We are going into Detroit in the morning (Saturday morning US time) to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise that will have an estimated 45,000 Hot rods and muscle cars cruising up and down Woodward Avenue from 9am to 9pm.

Been to it now 7 times since 1999.. and missed this year only due to a stomach operation, but going to next weekends Trans Am Nats in Daytona to make up for it .. but the TA Nats is like .007 of the size of the WDC..

Gully.. IMO.. the WDC is the worlds best event.. no stress..... free.. in the worlds Automotive  heartland..
